The Man Behind iTech

Kishore Khandavalli founded iTech in 2001 and remains its CEO today. Under Kishore's leadership, the company has established key partnerships internationally, many of which are Fortune 100 organizations. He has steered iTech to be one of the fastest growing technology companies including making strategic acquisitions to make iTech into a consortium of companies with global delivery centers offering solutions in professional, strategic, and data services.

Prior to venturing into IT industry, Kishore worked as a research and development engineer at Enerfex, a technology think tank. At Enerfex, he developed a unique patented technology to capture green house gases and reuse them as industrial refrigerants. 

Kishore's leadership has been recognized on a national level, including being a finalist for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2009 and 2010, as well as a Wells Fargo Asian Business leader finalist in 2010. When Kishore isn't dominating the IT scene, he relaxes as an avid flying enthusiast, as well as spending time with his wife Lakshmi and little boy Rishik.

Nicknamed John for short, he’s as passionate about coding outside of work as he is at iTech. And he’s equally passionate about giving back to the community. So he’s found a way to integrate the two. Working with Code for America, John is able to contribute to an open source project that will get used in things like the public sector or libraries.

Her Passion Extends Beyond the Office

Kate came to iTech as a former grant writer from the nonprofit sector. She has been able to piggyback this experience to expand iTech's compliance ventures, as well as get new initiatives underway. Kate pays homage to her past by rallying staff to enhance our giving dollars with community service. As Director of Operations, Kate has a passion towards process improvement through Lean practices--helping iTech keep up with the pace at which its growing. In her spare time, Kate enjoys organizing and preparing dinners for friends, pairing good food with good conversation.
